Regular Season Round 3: Melbourne T. - Dandenong R. 82-88

Date: April 4, 2024
Not a big story in a game in Melbourne where Tigers (0-2) were defeated by Dandenong Rangers (2-0) 88-82 on Thursday. Dandenong R. outrebounded Melbourne T. 38-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Mason Peatling (203-1997, college: EWU) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. The former international point guard Tad Dufelmeier (183-1996, college: CUI) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Four Dandenong Rangers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Tom Wilson (195-1997, college: SMU) who recorded 23 points and 7 assists and forward Jack Purchase (203-1995, college: Hawaii) added 20 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Tigers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dandenong Rangers will meet Casey (#12) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Tigers will have a break next round.
