Very important is a home loss of second rankedSaints (6-2) against eighth ranked Giants (4-5) on Sunday night. Host Saints were defeated by Giants in a tough game in Wellington 96-105 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Saints. Saints were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kobe Langley (185-2000, college: UNCG) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and Australian swingman Daniel Grida (195-1998) who added 27 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Giants' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. International guard Izayah Mauriohooho-Leafa (188-1996, college: Sacramento St.) responded with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Australian guard Ben Ayre (184-1995, college: Newman) scored 33 points (!!!). Four Saints players scored in double figures. Giants moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Nuggets. Saints at the other side keep the second position with two games lost. They share it with Rams and Bulls.
