Not a big story in a game when 19th rankedCavaliers (2-14) were outscored by ninth ranked Eltham Wildcats (8-7) in Cranbourne 100-71 on Saturday. Eltham W. dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Cavaliers 's 30. The former international guard Angus Glover (192-1998) notched 25 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward Ralph Bissainthe (201-1999, college: CMU) supported him with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five Eltham Wildcats players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward Dillon Stith (201-1992, college: St.Vincent) did not help to save the game for Casey . Guard Anthony Karabatsos (188-1997, college: Seton Hill) added 13 points for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Eltham W. maintains ninth position with 8-7 record, which they share with Nunawading S. and Frankston B. Casey lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the nineteenth place with 14 games lost.
