There was no surprise when 16th rankedTornadoes (4-13) were outleveled by eleventh ranked Wildcats (9-7) in Eltham 90-66 on Saturday. Eltham W. made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Launceston T. turnovers and outrebounded them 54-29 including a 37-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Eltham W. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Eltham W. made 8 blocks. Even 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals by American guard Trinity Oliver (175, college: Washington) did not help to save the game for Launceston T. . Sarah ONeill added 19 points and 4 steals. Eltham W. moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Cent.Coast C. Launceston T. lost sixth consecutive game.
