Very expected game in Penrith where 16th rankedPanthers (1-17) were crushed by seventh ranked Sydney City Comets (11-7) 102-71 on Friday. Sydney C. forced 19 Penrith turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Biwali Bayles (185-2002, college: Hawaii) who scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Naturalized British forward Obi Kyei (206-1994, college: Eckerd) chipped in 19 points. Four Sydney City Comets players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Atien Acuel who recorded 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Benjamin Kearins (190-1994) added 16 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
