There was a small surprise when eleventh rankedSteelers (4-13) won against 8th ranked Jets (7-10) in Sunbury 90-85 on Saturday. Western PS outrebounded Sunbury 46-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. American center Russell Permenter (203-1988, college: Providence) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Jake Macaulay (174) supported him with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Steelers' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 18 points and 5 assists by guard Nathan Marshall did not help to save the game for Sunbury . Owen Stephens added 21 points for the hosts. Five Western PS and four Sunbury players scored in double figures. Western PS moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Camberwell. Sunbury lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost.
