There was no surprise in Cheltenham where 5th rankedSabres (13-8) were crushed by second ranked Thunder (17-3) 88-68 on Sunday. Keilor T. made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Keilor T. made 7 blocks. It was a great evening for forward Isabelle Bourne (188-2000, college: Nebraska) who led her team to a victory scoring 29 points and 9 rebounds. New Zealand forward Penina Davidson (190-1995, college: California) helped adding 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Thunder players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Isis Lopes (180, college: UTEP) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and forward Klara Wischer (190-1991, college: San Diego) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Sabres' coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Keilor T. maintains second place with 17-3 record having just three point less than leader Sturt S. Sandringham S. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Mt Gambier.
