Very important is a home loss of second rankedCougars (13-5) against fourth ranked Cougars (12-6) on Sunday night. Host Cougars were defeated by Cougars in a tough game in Keysborough 93-99 . Forward Shaquille Maharaj (196-1997, college: Camosun) notched 29 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and American guard Adam Anderson (193, college: St.Rose, NY) supported him with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Cougars players scored in double figures. Even 41 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds by American point guard Anthony Williams (178-1995, college: Clark Atlanta) did not help to save the game for Keysborough . His fellow American import forward Gerrard Newby (196-1995, college: Union, KY) added 13 points and 18 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. McKinnon moved-up to third place. Loser Cougars keeps the second position with five games lost.
