There was a surprise result in Cheltenham where eleventh rankedFrankston Blues (10-11) defeated higher ranked Sabres (13-8) 82-77 on Tuesday. The former international power forward Lauren Scherf (196-1996) helped adding 15 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side forward Klara Wischer (190-1991, college: San Diego) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and Juna Umezawa scored 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Sandringham S. players scored in double figures. Frankston B. maintains eleventh place with 10-11 record. Sandringham S. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Mt Gambier.
