Undefeated Thunder (1-1) recorded its first loss in Casey on Saturday night. Visitors were rolled over by third ranked Cavaliers (3-1) 87-68. Cavaliers dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Thunder's 18. Cavaliers had a 31-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Jamaican forward Shereesha Richards (185-93, college: Albany) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) and American guard Rachel Bell (178, college: Vanderbilt) supported her with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Even 21 points and 5 rebounds by forward Bianca Babic (183-94, college: Murray St.) did not help to save the game for Thunder. Point guard Ellen Kett (170-94, college: Simon Fraser) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Thunder's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Cavaliers maintains third position in League with 3-1 record having just seven point less than leader Albury LB. Loser Thunder dropped to the sixth place with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
