This time Rockets used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Flinders Park 96-65 on Saturday night. Rockets forced 19 Warriors turnovers and outrebounded them 61-47 including 22 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Warriors' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Rockets made 10 blocks. Guard Taylor Ortlepp (178-97, college: Boston Coll.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and forward Jessica Good (186-94) chipped in 9 points, 22 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 blocks. Four Rockets players scored in double figures. Emily Winter responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists and Chloe Purvis scored 18 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Rockets (1-1) left bottom position moving up to fourth place in League. Loser Warriors still closes the standings with two games lost. Rockets will face league's leader Eagles in Goodwood in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
