Rather predictable result when third ranked Panthers (3-1) rolled over 7th ranked Flames (1-3) in Marden 73-47 on Sunday. Panthers held Flames to an opponent 24.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.7 percent accuracy of the winners. Panthers forced 20 Flames turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Flames' players. Forward Olivia Thompson (185-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Ashleigh Spencer (181-92) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Alex Wilson (174-94) replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and forward Bride Kennedy-Hopoate (193-97, college: N.Mexico) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Flames. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
