Not a big story in a game in Marden where bottom-ranked Mavericks (0-5) were defeated by seventh ranked Flames (2-3) 80-64 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was forward Bride Kennedy-Hopoate (193-97, college: N.Mexico) who scored 31 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Alex Wilson (174-94) chipped in 9 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals.
