Very important is a road loss of first ranked Hobart Chargers (0-4) against fourth ranked Tigers (4-2) on Sunday night. Visiting Hobart Chargers unexpectedly were crushed by in Melbourne 87-109. Tigers players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Hobart Chargers' players. Point guard Monique Conti (165-99) fired 40 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Forward Zitina Aokuso (192-98) chipped in a triple-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players saving starting five for next games. Austrian-British forward Ellie Collins (183-98) produced 25 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Madeleine Garrick (178-92) added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Tigers went down to fifth position (League) due to points difference. Hobart Chargers at the other side still keep top with four games lost. Tigers' next round opponent will be Mount Gambier Pioneers (#18) in Mt Gambier which should be another easy win for them.
