Rather expected game when 9th ranked Crusaders (1-3) lost to sixth ranked Hills Hornets (3-1) in Baulkham Hills 68-72 on Saturday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Hills Hornets made 11 blocks. Quite impressive performance for Paris Roditis who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals (made all of her eight free throws). Madison Hare contributed with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Abbey Cracknell replied with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and Sara Matthews added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Crusaders. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hills Hornets moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Crusaders dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
