No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Cougars (7-2) crushed 8th ranked Sharks (3-7) in McKinnon 84-60. They outrebounded Sharks 58-30 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Cougars players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sharks' players. The best player for the winners was center Rosie Fadljevic (183-93) who scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Tegan Cunningham (185-88, college: OK State) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. Four Cougars players scored in double figures. Tanarly Hood produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and Fiona Darnell added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cougars moved-up to third place in League. Sharks at the other side keep the eighth position with seven games lost. Cougars' next round opponent will be Cavaliers (#4) in Casey. Sharks will play at home against the league's second-placed Boomers (#2) and hope to win that game.
