We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Booval where 8th ranked Rollers (5-5) were defeated by ninth ranked Force (4-7) 85-75 on Friday. Force made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Abby Bishop (189-88) who scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Amy Lewis (175-86, college: Troy) chipped in 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international guard Lauren Mansfield (170-89, college: Iowa St.) who recorded 25 points and guard Casey Samuels (182-94) added 19 points and 4 assists respectively. Despite that victory Force went down to tenth position (League) due to points difference. Loser Rollers dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. Force will meet Cyclones (#14) in the next round. Rollers will play against Pirates (#8) in Runcorn and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
