An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Goodwood. First ranked Tigers faced 4th ranked Eagles. Guests from Morphett Vale (15-1) defeated host Eagles (10-6) 70-58. Tigers players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for forward Teige Morrell who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds (on 17-of-22 shooting from the field). Jemma Thacker contributed with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Swingman Samantha Simons (188-0, college: St.Mary's, CA) replied with 22 points and 8 rebounds and Brooke Basham added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Eagles. Tigers maintains first position in League with 15-1 record. Eagles at the other side keep the fourth place with six games lost. Tigers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Eagles will play again at home against the league's leader Tigers (#1) and hope to get back on the winning track.
