Wanneroo dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Redbacks' 20. Wanneroo forced 25 Redbacks turnovers and outrebounded them 46-29 including a 19-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Neseya Williams (186-1) stepped up and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners and American forward Kayla Steindl (190-89, college: Gonzaga) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Wanneroo players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Makailah Dyer (175, college: N.Dakota) responded with 25 points and 7 rebounds and forward Maddison Allen (190-93, college: Santa Clara) scored 4 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
