Very important is a road loss of third ranked Canberra Capitals (3-3) against sixth ranked Perth Lynx (2-2) on Wednesday night. Visiting Canberra Capitals were crushed by Perth Lynx in Perth 102-73. Perth Lynx outrebounded Canberra Capitals 48-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Canberra Capitals' players. The former international forward Darcee Garbin (187-94) stepped up and scored 24 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and the former international power forward Lauren Scherf (196-96) chipped in 15 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Kelsey Griffin (188-87, college: Nebraska) with 17 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Brittney Sykes (175-94, college: Syracuse) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds.
