Rather predictable result in Woodville where second ranked Bearcats (1-1) beat 4th placed Tigers (2-1) 80-64 on Friday. They outrebounded Tigers 47-31 including a 35-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bearcats looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Tigers' players. It was a great evening for guard Jasmin Fejo (177-2000) who led her team to a victory scoring 30 points and 4 assists. Guard Jasmine Simmons (180-1999, college: Oregon St.) helped adding 10 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. At the losing side guard Morgan Yaeger (175-1998, college: Oregon) responded with 34 points (!!!) and 4 steals and Demi Skinner (190-1997) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory Bearcats went down to sixth position (League) due to points difference. Loser Tigers dropped to the second place with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
