Regular Season Round 7: Southern T. - N.Adelaide R. 85-60

Everything went according to plan in Morphett Vale where fourth ranked Tigers (2-1) outleveled bottom-ranked Rockets (0-1) 85-60 on Saturday. Tigers forced 23 Rockets turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Morgan Yaeger (175-1998, college: Oregon) who led her team to a victory scoring 27 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Demi Skinner (190-1997) helped adding 20 points and 10 rebounds. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Peyton Taylor (175, college: Central Mo.) responded with 25 points and the other American import power forward Rayven Thomas (178, college: NW Kansas Tech) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tigers moved-up to second place in League. Loser Rockets still closes the standings with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
