Regular Season Round 23: Manly Warr. SE - Cent.Coast C. 78-74

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Crusaders (2-9) lost to fourth ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (8-4) in Narrabeen 74-78 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was an exceptional evening for forward Alex Delaney (183-1995, college: SFC) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Antonia Henderson accounted for 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Manly Warringah Sea Eagles players scored in double figures. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Swingman Sara Matthews (174-2002) came up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Bronte Moore added 19 points respectively for Crusaders in the defeat. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles maintains fourth place in League with 8-4 record. Loser Crusaders keep the eighth position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
