A very close game took place in Baulkham Hills between Nationals and Hills Hornets. Eighth ranked Nationals (5-8) got a very close victory on the road over 7th ranked Hills Hornets (5-9). Nationals managed to escape with a 3-point win 58-55 in the fight for the seventh place. Nationals forced 25 Hills Hornets turnovers. Guard Lizzy Tonks (173, college: CSUN) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Kristen Langhorn (179-1986) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Nationals players scored in double figures. Guard Cassandra Pentney (169-1994) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and Taryn Mahoney (180, college: Miles CC) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Nationals moved-up to seventh place in League. Loser Hills Hornets dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost.
