Everything went according to plan in Bulleen where second ranked Boomers (13-3) outscored 6th ranked Warriors (5-10) 90-44 on Saturday. Boomers held Warriors to an opponent 18.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 36.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Boomers forced 22 Warriors turnovers and outrebounded them 57-43 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Warriors' players. Naturalized British forward Louella Tomlinson (193-1988, college: St.Mary's, CA) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Olivia Bontempelli (179-1993) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Boomers players scored in double figures. Tarryn Wilkin produced 9 points and 12 rebounds and Canadian guard Haille Nickerson (170, college: Memorial) added 8 points respectively for lost side.
