Regular Season Round 29: Hills H. - Inner WB 84-65

Bottom-ranked Bulls (0-14) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 84-65 loss to eighth ranked Hills Hornets (6-9) in Baulkham Hills. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Bulls' 40. Hills Hornets forced 28 Bulls turnovers. Guard Cassandra Pentney (169-1994) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Rhiannon Yetsenga contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Hills Hornets players scored in double figures. Abby OFlynn answered with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals and American power forward Daphnee Frieson (195-1988, college: Stetson) added 9 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Bulls. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hills Hornets moved-up to seventh place in League. Bulls at the other side still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Hills Hornets will play against higher ranked Hunters (#6) in Newcastle in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bulls will have a break next round.
