No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Nationals (6-8) crushed bottom-ranked Bulls (0-15) in Canberra 101-54 on Sunday. Nationals forced 27 Bulls turnovers and outrebounded them 42-25 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Abby Solway (165, college: S.Georgia Tech) who led the winners and scored 30 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Forward Chloe Tugliach (178) accounted for 20 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. American forward Lashayla Wright-Ponder (182, college: Tampa) came up with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Abby OFlynn added 8 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for Bulls in the defeat. Bulls' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Nationals moved-up to seventh place in League. Loser Bulls still closes the standings with 15 games lost. Nationals will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bulls will play against Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (#5) and hope to get finally their first victory.
