Rather expected game in Canberra where 8th ranked Nationals (6-9) were crushed by sixth ranked Hunters (9-5) 88-54 on Sunday. Hunters dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Nationals' 24. Hunters forced 19 Nationals turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Hunters made 8 blocks. The best player for the winners was American guard Nicole Munger (180-1997, college: Michigan) who had a triple-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Center Chyra Evans (191-2003) chipped in 23 points, 5 assists and 5 steals.
