Important game to mention about took place in Narrabeen. Sixth ranked Hawks (10-6) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (10-8) 76-75 in the game for the fifth place. Hawks had a 32-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Tyler Scaife (175-1994, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and guard Georgia Ohrdorf (183-1995, college: MSU Denver) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Hawks players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Kimberley Hodge (182-1998) with 24 points and 7 rebounds (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and forward Alex Delaney (183-1995, college: SFC) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hawks moved-up to fifth place in League. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at the other side dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
