There was no surprise in Eltham where 13th ranked Wildcats (7-11) were defeated by seventh ranked Spectres (12-6) 76-59 on Sunday. Spectres looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Spectres made 7 blocks. American guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-1995, college: CBU) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Alice Kunek (187-1991, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Spectres' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Rebecca Pizzey (190-1999) produced 22 points and 9 rebounds and American forward Korinne Campbell (184-1988, college: WVU) added 12 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Spectres maintains seventh place in League with 12-6 record. Loser Wildcats dropped to the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. Spectres will meet Lady Cobras (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Wildcats will play against the league's second-placed Hawks having rather not much hope for a victory.
