An exciting game was played in . Top-ranked Kahu faced second-best Whai. Guests from (9-0) smashed host Whai (4-5) 88-64. Kahu forced 25 Whai turnovers. It was a good game for the former international guard Micaela Cocks (175-1986, college: Oregon) who led her team to a victory with 19 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Australian guard Tahlia Tupaea (175-1997) contributed with 21 points and 4 assists for the winners.
