An interesting game for Queens (7-4) which played road game in against 3rd placed Whai (4-6). Second ranked Queens managed to get a 6-point victory 65-59. Queens forced 24 Whai turnovers. It was a great evening for American swingman Jaime Nared (188-1995, college: Tennessee) who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Argentinian-Italian point guard Florencia Chagas (180-2001) helped adding 13 points and 6 steals. At the losing side Sheniqua Greene responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Kyra Lambert (175-1996, college: Texas) scored 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Four Whai players scored in double figures. Queens have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-4 record having just one point less than leader N. Kahu. Whai at the other side dropped to the fourth position with six games lost. Queens will play against league's leader Kahu in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Whai will play against Hoiho and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
