Regular Season Round 4: Saints - Giants 112-91

Saints can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Giants (0-5) 112-91 on Saturday. Saints dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Giants' 40. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian guard Kyle Adnam (186-1993) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 9 assists and the former international forward Tohi Smith-Milner (205-1995, college: Polk State CC) who added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) during the contest. Saints' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center Kavion Pippen (208-1996, college: SIU) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Samuel Dempster (194-1990) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five Saints and four Giants players scored in double figures. Saints maintains ninth position with 1-3 record. It was Giants' fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Saints will meet higher ranked Sharks (#3) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Giants will play against Airs (#6) and hope to get finally their first victory.
