The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Queens at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by Hoiho 82-75. Hoiho outrebounded Queens 49-30 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Ashten Prechtel (196-2001, college: Stanford) fired a double-double by scoring 25 points and 21 rebounds for the winners. Guard Paige Bradley (178-1994, college: Denver) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Five Hoiho players scored in double figures. Guard Chrislyn Carr (165, college: Louisville) produced 25 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Stephanie Watts (180-1997, college: UNC) added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Hoiho will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Queens will play against Whai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
