Leader Hoiho delivered the seventh victory on Friday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Pouakai (2-9) 84-74. Hoiho looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Ashten Prechtel (196-2001, college: Stanford) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. Her fellow American import guard Paige Bradley (178-1994, college: Denver) helped adding 20 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Hoiho players scored in double figures. At the losing side American swingman Jasmine Dickey (175-2000, college: Delaware, agency: LBM Management) responded with 31 points and 6 rebounds and British guard Kennedy Leonard (173-1996, college: Colorado, agency: LBM Management) scored 8 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Despite that victory Hoiho went down to second position due to points difference. Pouakai lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. Hoiho will meet Whai (#4) in the next round. Pouakai will play against Queens and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
