Ariirimarau Meuel paced Tahiti past Cook Islands at the Polynesia Games 2022. He nailed 27 points as his team won 104-52.
Tahiti grabbed a 24-12 lead at the start and dominated the rest of the game. They nailed 42 points in the second period and reached three-digit number at the end.
Glenn Garbutt (1991) collected 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners, whilst Heimoana Teamotuaitau (185-SG-1999) netted 13. Te Bluegum replied with 17 points in a loss and Akira Kanayda scored 12.
