Australia and New Zealand continue their dominance at the FIBA Oceania U19 Championships. In Pool A Australian U19 team smashed Papua New Guinea 104:16. Demi Skinner topscored with 18 points. In Day 3 the favourites outscored New caledonia 125:22. Alanna Smith (188-PF-96) stepped up with 28 points and Lynette Farrah-Seaton added 18. Souque answered with 8 points in the losing effort.
In Pool B Solomon Islands beat Fiji 63:58. Maya Van Den Heever again showed she is a player to watch this tournament, scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. For the locals, captain Tiyana Kainamoli replied with 20 points. New Zealand accounted for the Tahiti team 104:27.
