New Zealand and Australia to clash for U19 Oceania Championship title

New Zealand and Australia will fight for the U19 Oceania Championship title in Suva. They celebrated victories in respective semifinal battles today.
New Zealand blasted Guam 101:39 for the place in the Final. Maia Wilson (193-F-97) connected for 22 points to lead the effort. New Zealand unloaded 55 points in the first half to gain a 35-point advantage. They stayed in charge throughout the second half coasting to the victory. Dru Tolefoa added 18 points for the Junior Tall Ferns. Destiny Castro (168-SG-97) responded with 16 points for Guam.
Australia left no chance for Tahiti in a 122:13 victory. Seven players scored in double digits for Australia. Demi Skinner netted 27 points to pace the effort. Alanna Smith (188-PF-96) contributed 21 points in the victory. Vainui Tehoiri had 5 points for Tahiti.
