New Zealand knocked down Australia to celebrate Gold in Suva. The Kiwis therefore claimed U19 World Championship birth. Quinn Clinton (190-G-99) provided 14 points in the win. New Zealand established a 27:20 halftime lead. The Kiwis protected the lead throughout the second half and rallied to the victory. Sam Waardenburg (99) tallied 11 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Angus Glover responded with 12 points for Australia. Jacob Rigoni (198-F-98) had 11 points in the loss.
3-4 Place
New Caledonia - Guam 68-87
Guam stepped up on the podium in Suva. They rallied past New Caledonia to finish third at the championship. Michael Dong-Min (99) scored 12 points in the victory. Guam registered a 48:29 halftime lead. They protected the lead well throughout the second half and rallied to the victory. Gabriel Simon (98) had 9 points in the win. Yves-Alexandre Dabin (99) responded with 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for New Caledonia.

5-6 Place
Fiji - Samoa 57-61
Samoa topped Fiji to secure the fifth position at the tournament. Joseph Vaetoe (99) came up with 19 points to lead the winners. Fiji ensured a 31:24 halftime lead. But Samoa went on a strong 37:26 run in the second half to ice the victory. Tumau Tautau (00) accounted for 13 points and 11 rebounds in the win. Isimeli Koroi (98) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds for Fiji.
