Pacific Island women have more success in basketball than their male counterparts.  They have managed to reached to the top of women’s basketball with Naomi Mulitauaopele (Samoa/American Samoa) playing in the WNBA.  Many other have had success in US Colleges, such as Samoan NT member’s April Atuiaia and Hedy Liu (University of Hawaii), Wendy Anae (CSU Poly) and Fijian Dale Wise (Cerro Coso CC) This is best comprehensive list on the web in regard of Pacific Island women’s playing at US College.  The list could have be much more bigger that this with establish basketball players such as Samoan Monarisa Ale and others preferring to player other college ports, mainly volleyball.  We know of many other people in college , we are waiting to confirm from which Pacific Island countries/territories they belong to.
