The 2005 Oceania All Star tour is underway, with all players and staff meeting in Sydney for a pre tournament training camp. Players are pictured with the Sydney Opera House in the background, on their way to watch an NBL game.

It took 4 days for all the players to arrive, which meant some trainings were held without the full compliment of players and coaches. The teams are being housed in dormitary accommodation at beautiful Coogee beach. Training is being conducted at Alexandria stadium, where the players had the opportunity to meet one of Australia's most famous players, Robyn Maher.

So far training has consisted of an early beach fitness session, water aerobic exercises, on-court sessions and team offence and defense workouts. Under the supervision of coach Angelo Francoise-Eloice (New Caledonia) and Michael Whippy (Fiji) the teams have moulded into a cohesive group, although there have been some interesting moments because of the French and English speaking groups.
