List of Pacific Islanders in US college basketball for 2005/06

This is a list of Pacific Islanders that are expected to play college basketball in the upcoming season.  Though quality players like Vili Morton, Will Taukiuvea and Naupaka Uperes have graduated this season, there is a strong influx of freshman that will maintain the strong number of Pacific Islanders, currently at 43, which is expected to rise to over 50 by the start of the season. 13 of those where born in the South Pacific which say a lot of how good are these players in the Pacific islands despite very limited facilities and coaching expertise
