Sparks wins Womens Basketball Championship

The Sparks Womens basketball team defied all odds as they showed their class in defeating USP Chosen 27-21 to win the final of the Womens Easter Basketball Championship.

Laced with the services of their star players like Captain Lynn Koyamainavure, Merelaini Waqairawai and Maria Tora, sparks came out firing in the last quarter of the match.

Captain Koyamainavure said hard work has been paid off for the team and the win was possible through team work.

Meanwhile, the Mens final is currently underway with the Saints taking on Boston Whites.
