Women win silver, men claim bronze in Basketball

The Women's Basketball side has failed to defend their gold medal they won at the last Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea. Fiji had to settle for silver after losing to American Samoa in the gold medal playoff 74-53. It was a sweet victory for American Samoa after losing to Fiji four years ago in the final.
The Men's team won bronze following their 72-49 win over PNG.
