West Adelaide Bearcats (NBL1 Central) added to their roster 30-year old American (has also Guamanian- international passport) guard Earnest Ross (198cm-103kg-91, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) for season 2021. He played last season at South Bay Lakers (NBA G League) in the U.S. But in four NBA-G-League games he recorded just 1.8ppg and 1.5rpg previous season.
In 2015 (a year after he left the college) Ross was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (D-League) in fourth round (74th overall).
The former University of Missouri standout is in his eighth season in pro basketball. Ross has been regularly called to Guamanian Senior National Team since 2018.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Ross' pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). Ross has played previously professionally in Denmark (Naestved), New Zealand (Rangers), Qatar (Al Ahli and Al Wakrah) and Australia (Perth Wildcats, Wanneroo, Buccaneers and Ballarat Miners).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Ross' team won Australian SBL Regular Season for two years in a row (2018 and 2019). He was also voted Australiabasket.com All-Australian SBL Domestic Player of the Year between 2018 and 2019.
