SAM Basket Massagno (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 26-year old American (has also Guamanian passport) center Jonathan Galloway (209cm-107kg-1996, college: UC Irvine) for season 2022-23. Galloway played most recently at BK Armex Decin in NBL league in Czech Republic. He managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year. In 8 Czech Republic games he recorded 4.0ppg and 4.9rpg. Galloway also played for Bisons in Finnish Korisliiga where in 23 games he averaged 8.3ppg and 6.7rpg. The other team he played shortly was TED Ankara in Turkish TBL. In two games he had 9.5ppg, 8.0rpg and 2.0apg.
He also represented Guam at the Pacific Games in Apia (Samoa) three years ago. Galloway's team won Gold and his stats at that event were 5 games: 9.6ppg, Reb-5 (9.2rpg), FGP: 61.5%, FT: 41.0%.
Galloway has played also professionally in Croatia (Zadar), Denmark (Bakken) and Switzerland (Monthey). His team won Big West Regular Season in 2017 and 2019. He was voted to All-Big West Defensive Player of the Year back in 2017 and 2018.
Galloway graduated from University of California - Irvine in 2019 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.
