IHC Apes (MBL) tabbed 33-year old American (has also Guamanian passport) 198cm guard Earnest Ross (college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) for new season. He has played for the last two years at Toyoda . In 48 B3 League games he was league's third best scorer with impressive 21.5ppg and recorded 11.0rpg (#5 in the league), 2.9apg and 1.8spg (in top 2) last season. He can count that year as a very successful as was voted to Asia-Basket.com Japanese B League D3 All-Imports Team, League Player of the Week (2 times) and Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D3 First Team.
In 2015 (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by Santa Cruz Warriors (D-League) in fourth round (74th overall).
The former University of Missouri star is in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. Ross has been regularly called to the Guamanian Senior National Team since 2018.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in six different countries playing on four different continents. Ross is familiar with European, Asian, Australian and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Australia (Wildcats, Wanneroo, Buccaneers, Miners and Bearcats), Denmark (Naestved), New Zealand (Rangers), Qatar (Al Ahli Sports Club Doha and Al Wakrah) and NBA G League (South Bay Lakers).
Among many awards he played in the final of Australian SBL in 2019. Ross was selected to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D3 Honorable Mention in 2022. He played also for Auburn University for 2 years.
