Guam - Japan 78-83

Japan have continued their winning streak in Group C at the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers. They overcame pesky Guam 83-78 at the University of Guam Field House.
The guests looked better from the start and won the first two quarters to take a 48-31 halftime advantage. Guam meanwhile replied with two narrow wins in the second half for the final result.
Yudai Nishida (190-F-1999) top-scored for the winners with 21 points and Hirotaka Yoshii (196-F/G-1998) had 17. Earnest Ross (198-G-1991, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) Jr replied with 30 points in the losing effort.
