Fiji stormed past Vanuatu to gain the second victory. Fiji piled up a comfortable 51-18 halftime lead. They unloaded 32 points in the fourth period and raced to the victory. Senikau Taleitaki (2007) tossed in 20 points, while Emelia Wood (2008) contributed 16 points for Fiji. Christina Kasten (2006) responded with 17 points for Vanuatu.

Solomon Islands - Papua New Guinea 23-65
Papua New Guinea thumped Solomon Islands to record the fourth consecutive win. Papua New Guinea limited the hosts to only 4 points in the second half to race to the victory.
