Fiji and Papua New Guinea advance into Final

New Caledonia - Fiji 48-60
Fiji outgunned New Caledonia to secure their place in the Final. Fiji recorded a 28-24 halftime lead. They held New Caledonia to just 24 points in the second half and raced to the win. Estelle Kainamoli (175-F-2003) came up with 23 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Angelique Ha Ho (2009) tossed in 14 points for New Caledonia.

Vanuatu - Solomon Islands 37-60
Solomon Islands recorded the first win at the Melanesia Cup. They thumped Vanuatu for 1-3 record. Solomon Islands registered a comfortable 33-20 halftime lead. They held Vanuatu to only 17 points in the second half to race to the victory. Britney Basia (167-G-1999) delivered 12 points, while Wainita Kausua (170-F-2002) had 11 points for the hosts. Frances Izono (172-F-1992) posted 14 points for Vanuatu.
